I feel so blessed to have met both of them.

Where is Heaven?

We have been talking a lot about Heaven this week. With a heavy heart we said good bye (for now) to my Step Dad Dick. He had a long battle with lung problems and cancer took over his body towards the end. He passed away at home with family and friends.

This has been a little confusing for Sarah but she has been so sweet explaining to people "Dick isn't sick anymore". On our 6 hour drive home from AZ she asked me about Heaven ,curious how we get there, what it looks like ..........but in the same sentence asked me "how many boobies does a pig have?" Leave it to a 3 year old .....

Our time together was too short

I appreciate the happiness and love Dick brought to my Mom and our family.

You be missed.........................

Tea Party

Ahhhhhh how lucky am I to have such wonderful friends.

These three sweet neighbors thought it would be fun to have a tea party with Sarah yesterday.

( I got to get a few things done.....childfree.....thank you).

They made cookies ....did princess projects....played with puppies...... and had an old fashion tea party. I threw in 4 crowns to really make it festive!!

She talked about her special day all afternoon...........Thank you!!

Yup.....this Mama took a vacation day.
I finally made it to La Maision Rustique......or The Barn! Not only did I get to finally see this wonderful place but I got to meet Canela from Cinnamon Sticks .....in person!! We have been blog friends for about a year now and it was so nice to finally meet this sweet talented Mama .


At the Barn Rita had her lovely jewelry for sale......Deb had her HOT BAGS.........Dyanna had her beautiful cuffs.........Tricia came all the way from Arizona for sell her Halloween treasures ...........and lots ...lots more. Oh yeah of course that darn woman selling snicker doodles. I ATE THEM ALL!! ARG!!

After my trip to Temecula I came home ....changed clothes and off again. Val and Deb were both in Haute Handbags this month and we had a fun girls night to celebrate their being published. Wine, Little Stiff Rabbits and lots of laughs.......thanks for the great night. Some of Debs bags can be found at Paper Tales.

Home by 12:30 am.......off to bed........ahhhhh what a great day!!
